Hey, at least he says it in a more interesting way than most phi geeks. I give him a hell of a lot of credit for at least identifying his deontological position using a language that we can all understand. You can't snore through his lecture.
Worthless video, you're throwing away at least 200 years of philosophical thinking. Do you seriously think you can debunk the entire age of reason with just saying that it's boring, and stating that there basically only are 2 categories in ethics? It's ok to think different, but do so adequately! Now it just seems that you're simply not able to understand nykytyne2's video...
Someone does a video with content and you find it boring? You are not a serious person. You find the most minimalist video on ethics boring? Why should we care what you think if you can't pay attention to a 6-7 minute video.
So killing and feeding from animals is fine? Humans are superior they are worth more at least to humans. So if a more developed animal would feed on humans that should be fine right? to them The quality of your existence is irrelevant to me except for my selfishness when I give you a helping hand because it makes me feel good and it satisfies my Gandhi/Jesus ego.
Its psychotic we need to interact with life, others yet we cant handle it most of the time and therefor retreat to be alone.

I also think doing so is a good idea, since I can think of lots of people I've known in my life, who in retro, clearly had a virture based set of ethics. I think they're can be a clear.. not sure how to word this, "optimal method of establishing ethics"?
I hope im understanding you, and if so, I agree with you to a large degree. But I think you're simply explaining how you rationalize your perspective on ethics, where Nyktyne is examining multiple persepectives that are actively used by many, both in history and presently
So basicly you have a consequencal ethical perspective? So when im deciding what to do in a givin situation, the answer would be whatever route leads to a "better state of consciencness" rather then a "worse" state? This opposed to a more virture based set of ethics, where I might have a predetermined answer based on my predetermined set of virtues, regardless of what the outcome of the situation might be?

This his fellow has gone completely batshit.
When I first saw his videoes some two years ago, I recognized him in very short order as an example of what I call the Incongruous Bum Quandry.
This is an intelliigent person who -briefly- makes you perplexedly ask yourself, "Huh, this guy's really bright; I wonder why he's a bum?"
-And presently you find yourself saying,
"Ah. Of course. He's batshit crazy".
