In hearing Kim talk to the audience during the ending of this song is the SAME chatter Diana did with her dialog with the audience with the Supremes "Let Me Go The Right Way" live performance. She sure stole folks stuff to move the Supremes ahead in whatever way she could but as we would learn it wasn't about the Supremes, it was about Ross escalating herself period. The marking of a shrewd business woman.

do you have
her version of "take me in your arms"
and the isley bros version they never play them on the radio wtf?

You are so right. Kim was the best vocalist Motown ever had! Her MGM stuff is great too. I read that Mickey Stevenson felt Kim was his " Diana Ross", and expected Motown to make her a star as his reward for all his contributions to the company. Gordy wasn't going to let that happen. Being married to Mickey Stevenson worked against her.

Kim Weston was the greatest voice at Motown...radio would not play her after she left Motown and her recordings are awesome classics that hopefully will be released..."Big Brass Four-Poster" is a blues/soul masterpiece as is "Kim!Kim!Kim!". Bravo Kim

You're right. It is FAST. The newer turntables must not have with pitch control capabilities.

Kim Weston deserved an LP with 12 songs on it! A Gordy LP was reserved for her but it was never finished. It was called "Kim Weston- Take Me In Your Arms".
I did a vid on the Isley's version of "Take Me In Your Arms"
