Evo 8 with Blown Transmission

This is the second transmission with the same sounds and symptoms that has blown on me. This video, I was on my way back home from picking up my car 630 miles away. Last time this happened, all 4 wheels locked up on my going 40mph. That was intense. I am cursed!

Newest update, should have done this months ago but it was an input shaft bearing. Replaced it and I have driven 6k miles since with no issues! :)

The weather has been awful here in TN so I am not at the point of actually tearing the transmission apart yet. The furthest I got so far is transfer case is out. I did notice that the output shaft has quiet a bit of play. I don't think that's normal.

I should mention close to the end, that rumbling sound is from the middle of the road. It's so no one veers into the other lane. Mountain road.
