@JaredPolin Don't apologize for your art man. While he is entitled to his opinion, you have your own style. There will always be haters. Just do your thing. Never mind if they some may not like it; but, if you did it in good faith and an honest intention to help others, man don't apologize.

hey jared, do you think it would be a good idea to shoot with my 10.5 nikkor fisheye, or should i use my 50 1.8? it's in a small place so i thought the fisheye would get some great pictures but i need some advice, it's my first concert( small gig not real concert)

Jared, which camera do you use for shooting in concerts? D3s or D3100?

I agree on the earplugs thing :) May not be "cool" but the music actually sounds better lowered with less distortion like that and my ears don't feel like shit the next day.

@redtippmann unless you're close to the stage that 50mm isn't gonna really be good but that 80-200 is right on time!!! cause you can zoom on the band members plus the aperture is really gonna be lit up!

What about a d7000 would that work well at a concert? Also would a 50mm 1.8 and a 80-200 2.8 be good?
