Those people complaining about the BBC's Jubilee coverage need to have a word with themselves. I'd much rather watch the Diamond Jubilee on the BBC rather than these overpaid and egotistical footballers kicking a ball around any day! Give me a bit of pomp and pageantry over reality tv too.

I guess you're right about the cutting to celebrities and all, but I hear it was much better than CNN's over-the-top presenting style. They should've had John Simpson or Mishal Husain presenting. Nevertheless, Fearne Cotton and the adverse weather conditions aside, I enjoyed it.

I wish I had been in London when they celebrated the queen's diamond jubilee last year. Now that she has celebrated the 60th anniversary of her reign, she must remain the queen for another decade.

I hope when Australia becomes independent with an independent flag that they (the royals) in deference to the sovereign nation of Australia send a royal representative to observe the handing over of complete powers to modern Australia, in the same way they handed over power to India and returned Hong Kong to China.
