@jorjacskon It is the yolk sac, but what's the harm in telling mom its the head? i think they say it to make us happy if we ask. :)

That's weird, I had a similar ultrasound but my gynae told me that that circle was the yolk sac - not the head. can anyone shed any light??

Your ultrasound is awesome! When I got mine at 6 weeks, she just looked like a gray glob. SO cool that you could actually see the head!
