open your ears. He is saying that there are a lot of alternatives we AS A NATION will have to decide what is best. Meaning he wont dictate a fix but look at the Science and see which technology will be better for us. Ethanol is a bad choice, it has not reduced oil cost and it has increased food cost by 3.

ethanol is a bad choice for energy alternative.
corn ethanol is bad. the government is going to get involved and subsidize all the wrong choices plus political cronies are going to give subsidies to the big oil companies and their friends.
