  • You have to be super careful with wasted, there is alot of triggering material in it, I definetely would not read it unless you are not going to be triggered easy.

Skinny was a really good novel, I really enjoyed it.

  • @sweetcitybaby22 That one has always triggered me, so since I've been in recovery I haven't read it. You have to be in a really good place to read it.

  • I just finished reading Wasted yesterday and i absolutely loved it. Thanks for the tips, i've wanted to read the bell jar for awhile and i think i'll read skinny. :D

  • You're welcome(:

  • I've read some of the ones you have talked about, also not specifically ED related, but a good book all the same Prozac Nation. Really great video, i shall definitely be looking to read the others in the future~Michelle xx

  • That one is on my to-read-list. (:

  • Another good ED book is Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson

  • I didn't find Purge Rehab diarys very helpful and i didn't find it hurtful, but i could see how i could be hurtful because she goes into so much detail about weight. She does seem to focus more on the emotion of purging instead of the act of which is good. All in all I didn't find the book helpful, but It is pretty accurate at portraying an ed.
