why is he drawing a line from the left foot at tiger and a line on the right foot at vijay s swing.

@retreattodefeat, I should also mention that Singh's extreme reverse-C follow-through requires more flexibility than Woods' straight-up-and-down one. And that certainly doesn't fit into the narrative stating that "He is old, therefore he has to do this and that." These guys train like crazy and all work on their flexibility.
Tom Watson still gets the club past parallel at the age of 62.

@retreattodefeat, uh, buddy, Woods was in his 30s when this was shot. Second, yes, some 45-year-olds are more flexible than some 20-year-olds. When I was 12, I couldn't touch my toes. On the other hand, some middle-aged folks do yoga and can do splits. But that wasn't the point, anyway. My point was that Singh swings the way he does simply because that is his style-always has been. And there are older golfers who swing more like Woods. So I will say again, Kostis knows nothing about golf.

@OutlanderWarrior you're telling me a 45 year old can get the same hip and shoulder separation as a 20 year old? kostis knows little about golf and you say the swing has nothing to do with age hahah ludicrous

@dschultz6072 That's right, but you have to be a more athletic type golfer IMO. Golfers like Tiger spend a lot of time in the gym hitting the weights and working on their core strength and doing things like squats and deadlifts. That's why their new school as opposed to old school players, who, just like in almost every other sport spend more time playing the game and less time in the weight room.

When Tiger returns he also will be old school, lol.

@rompus62 Ben Hogan was not old school. Old school is more like Bobby Jones or Harry Vardon. Hogan's swing is considered to be a modern swing because he restricts his hip rotation.
