@k9element Look for: (Paul Revere's deposition, fair copy, circa 1775) and (Letter from Paul Revere to Jeremy Belknap, circa 1798) online with that exact wording in parenthesis. You'll see his exact wording, both written by him, and transcribed from his deposition. If the words of the man himself aren't enough... well then... you have bigger problems.

@PatriotsRepublic source please - you are a lunatic. There is no documentation to back up your unfounded claim. Paul Revere did not ride alone - nor did he ride the longest distance. That claim lies with another less famous patriot. Paul Revere was captured near the end of his ride and then released. Please open a book and try to learn something. Please.

All the commenters here are typical uneducated boobs who don't know shit about American history. Paul Revere did warn the British on the night of his ride, when he was captured, that they would be facing a formidable resistance. His exact words (as told by him) were; "I told him I knew better, I knew what they were after; that I had alarmed the country all the way up, that their boats were caught aground, and I should have 500 men there soon." <- that is what he told the British on April 18th.

She makes gaffe after gaffe, writes responses on her hand, quits her governership, she is a comedians dream because each time a microphone is put in her face, she says something factually wrong but with the cockiness that makes you actually question the right answer.
