Trixies POV
Nick rubbed his eyes and I noticed he was in boxers.
Trixie: Well, hello.
Nick: Hi. . . What are you doing?
Trixie: Well currently, Im lying on top of you. And youre oh so comfortable.
He actually was comfy. I placed my elbows on either side of him and raised my head so I could look him in the eyes.
Nick: Yeah I know that youre on me, but what are you doing in my room at. . .
He squinted at the clock.
Nick: 9:45.
Trixie: Oh, well I just wanted your company sweetheart.
I batted my eyelashes and intertwined my fingers with his. He blushed and looked away, in order to avoid my gaze. I ran my fingers up his arm and kissed near his ear. I whispered.
Trixie: You know I love you baby.
Nick: S-s-so w-what are you r-r-real-really doing h-here?
I sighed and sat up, my butt on his lower stomach.
Trixie: I need your help Nick.
Nick pushed himself up, leaning on his elbows. He smirked his perfect, charming smirk. Yeah, I could so get into that.
Nick: You know thats the most serious sounding thing youve said in weeks.
I couldnt look in his eyes now. I knew the look hed be giving me. The kind, understanding, deep look that would burn a hole through me.
Trixie: My hearts torn.
Nick: How? Why?
Trixie: I-i. . . I just. . .
Nick rubbed my arm soothingly and kissed my hand. I felt tears build up in my eyes, but I wouldnt cry in front Nick.
Trixie: Im in love with Kevin and Joe.
Nick: And not me? Well, Im offended.
He was smiling. He was smiling? I just told him I was in love with two of his brothers and thats his response?
Nick: Why are you looking at me like that baby?
Trixie: I was looking for a different reaction. Like freaking out or something?
He grinned showing his teeth. His grin was so infectious.
Nick: I guess it doesnt really surprise me. I knew you love Kevin since we were little kids and I think I always expected you to end up with Joe.
Trixie: Did everyone see that?
Nick: Everyone, but Kevin and Joe. Theyre blissfully oblivious to that situation. They both love you, though. I dont think either would ever admit it. That would be a fun little catfight.
I stared at him for multiple seconds in total shock.
Trixie: Th-They- They dont love me.
I looked down, glaring at his bellybutton. He lifted my chin with his finger so Id look at him. I closed my eyes, but soon whimpered and locked eyes with him. His chocolaty eyes intensely gazed into mine, questioning and quixotic.
Trixie: Why do you look at me like that?
He caressed my face with his thumb and forefinger.
Nick: Cause youre too gorgeous to be sad.
Trixie: Well youre just, youre just- just- no calling me gorgeous!
I whined and got off of him. I lay next to him, staring at the ceiling. He turned on his side and used his index finger to trace the center features of my face, pausing on my lips. My breath caught in my throat and he leaned closer to me. Was he going to kiss me? Did I want him to kiss me? No. Hes like a little brother. Not like Frankie, but not like Joe or Kevin. Wait, doesnt he like Mandy? Yeah hes not gonna kiss me. Im freaking out for nothing.
Trixie: What are you-
He silenced me with his soft lips.
