Respond to this video... How was his book going to read..... The Bob Barker found the fleet, we arrived and spent 5 hours with the fleet then i put my boat in front of an on coming harpoon ship and got run over. THE END. Respond to this video... I completely believe Pete did it for the attention. He was writing a book at the time and after the ramming had only a short story. He wasnt interested in saving Whales. He treated the whole experience as a game. Thats why the Ady got cut in two. Who sits on the outriggers of a small glass boat and laughs and takes pictures of a harpoon ship bearing down on them?? @andysamba There was a chance he wouldnt have even gone back to Japan. Really... you dont think the whole boarding was for the camera? Pete didnt even own the Boat. He had no interest in the boat anymore. You think he boarded the Shonan for what? to hand a bill to its Captain? Everyone knows that was a joke and the skipper would never pay or return with Pete to the Steve Irwin. It was a complete media stunt. And Paul Watson assured Pete if he was taken back Sea Shepherd would get him out ASAP
