Obviously the drums kill. But the originality of the whole band is what makes this album classic. The vocals. The odd sounding dissonant rifs and songwriting. The atonal melodies. Its excellent, excellent music.

Probably one of the best (and creative)drummers in the history of metal.
This is one of the most underrated metal bands. This is partly due to the fact that "Condemned" was published by Earache when the main trend in extreme metal was represented by what we (today)call "Old school" Death Metal. I also remember that some reviewers (in a pathetic attempt to label their sound) called Confessor a "Doom" band!
