This Hellenic Navy Special Forces Commander talks about the arrest of five pirates on 29 March 2009 after they tried to attack the German naval tanker Spessart.

EU wasn´t bad for Greece. Made export and tourism easier.

Euro was the bad Idea.

Here are a lot of people constantly writing to parliament, because we want real help for our friends (not only Greece but all who are struggeling).

But that´s not going to help very much. What led to the problems was 10 years of very bad politics. Now Greece needs very good politicians who are brave enough to say "I want that russian credit no matter what you tell us!"

@hmpeter Man you don't know the situation here, it's reallity that Germany steal from other countries with taxes just like USA. And learn that i never wanted Greece come in european union or in euro. Just give in the countries with problem a loan without big taxes to help them,to send a country in IMF and a loan with 6% and 7% tax is not help but steal, russians wanted to give us a loan with 1% tax but you told us to refuse, Why??Because you want the oils and land. Alot of countries benefit from €.

The others suffer from real estate bubble or bank crysis.

Greece wasn´t ready for €, but your politicians faked data.

They kept faking 10 years.

What happens when you join a strong currency, but your economy can´t keep up? Things get fucking expensive.

That´s why Greece wouldn´t have been allowed to join if they hadn´t lied.

You are fast with insulting other people. Have you ever considered that this is in some part the fault of your people?

You understand the concept of high and low income countries?

Average income over here is 1500€, yes.

But things are more expensive, you can´t compare that directly.

The rent for my 40m² cheap apartment is already ~600€ (without heating etc).

Income in Germany is only eurozone average, in many countries peope earn more.

Greece never should have joined eurozone, but your politicans betrayed us and your people.

We owe to greece everything? Why that?

The normal German citizen gains absolutely nothing. No loan interests, no land, no oil.
