Antique John Deere MT with Model 40 Loader clearing brush over Easter 2009. Works better than expected! Worksaver 3pt hitch and Sitrex 90" finish mower on rear for counterweight and mowing. We mow 2 -3 acres of field grass every week with this tractor, and it does an excellent job with the large mower in first gear. Recently rebuilt engine runs wonderfully.

  • The 620 has a model 45 loader on it and it's a serial #1

  • maybe i'll post some vids showing our tractors, i restored the John Deere b last summer.

  • oops, JD model 420 and it's a 1956 model not a 1965.

  • why didn't you burn the brush and then use the tractor to level out the rough ground? I have lived on a farm all my life. We have tractors. Small one is JD 420 1965, the a JD b 1950, then a JD 620 1958, then a JD 3020 1969. We sold our cows and quit farming 5 years ago and got rid of the big tractors.

  • too slow !!!!

  • wow great job! i like the loader! i miss seeing my neighbors model 40 putting around the feild. but it is tired and the head gasket went last year. im going to have to get after him to fix it again!
