Cool i guess, never much cared for Muse but the fact that they even know LB is a step in the right direction. Not enough energy though.

Ive never heard of Lightning Bolt but this sounds Fricking Awesome in my opinion!

1:14 would have been a great time to just segue right into Dead Star.

@xbyiu97 muse have plenty of energy in there songs they were mucking around with this it was intro to a song
-
@olpaxis dragonforce speed up there sounds in the studio's there not really that good
-
@Spyral2112 they didnt cover it they were doing just little intro to there songs where they muck around at the there end of a song or at start.....
-
@Gusafy Which makes sense because Brian Gibson of Lightning Bolt uses banjo strings on his bass.

Love lightning bolt, respect muse. In covering this song, they show respect for Lightning Bolt, something that is well-needed in mainstream music.
-
@nendo In the Muse biography, they talk about how Matt mucked around backstage filming security guards and the front row while Chris and Dom played this.
-
Nice to know that Muse are fans of LB. Some people take this shit too seriously, but it's jsut a few fans doing a little cover of a song they like at a gig. No big deal.
-
You're right, I don't know LB bolt.

I love Muse more than LB, but this song is certainly not on par with the original. Still pretty good though.
i just noticed something on the vid desciption which is wrong. matt does play during this song.
i think the uploader is gettnig confussed between this song and the osaka jam which matt doens't play (although towards the end of the jam he does join in)

no confusion, matt does not play any of this. he was backstage running around with a hand held camera when dom and chris were playing this.
