NIP-16 at Yevpatoriya was equipped to handle interplanetary probes. The Pluton system sent commands to the probe, while the Saturn system received data. Saturn complexes were built at NIP-3, 4, 14, and 15. This consisted of a 16 m antennae with a 100 million km range.

One question is: how come we havn't carried on going to the moon and built a base etc to carry on the good work? How come the Russians havn't gone up as well?

One reason we may have never been back, or the russians have never been, is there's little point until we can fully use the moon and its resources.

another reason is the cost, and the danger involved.

Bill Kasing is a well-intentioned old fool. If he were a true scientist he'd look at the data and not go with his gut feelings. Ralph REne's experiments are a joke. They went to the moon, the proof is unbelievably overwhelming and well documented. Remember people we are talking about possibly THE most well documented event in human history. If you question this then everything else is way suspect. The fact is that it did happen and it was an unbelievable achievement.

If that was the case Bill, why was the Saturn V used on previous Apollo missions? If you thought the Saturn rocket was dangerous, have you examined the rockets used for the Mercury and Gemini missions? Do you believe we went into space at all? Truth is we beat the Ruskies up there and were able to view God's creation from a different perspective for the first time.
