From everything I've read about these guys, Neil Young didn't even perform on any of the songs he didn't write, which was easily over half the damn album. He was credited with writing two songs, and co-writing one. Neil Young is great, but he did add a totally different feel to the group, and frankly, I'm more fond of CSN myself. The first two albums were incredible, but the harmonies, Stills' guitar, and the songwriting was exceptional on their first time out.
