It does at first, but once you break in your pointe shoes, it doesn't! (i'm 12 and have been on pointe for about a month) Be sure to get padding! :)

jeez ur speed is amazing. im just starting. i can hardly stand. but ill eventually learn. anybody have any tips on how to break them in?
