Part 14. In this video the middle body piece is wrapped up for now, and the altitude controls are blocked out, that exist at the side of the vehicle. Video demonstrates polygon 3D modeling tecniques.

  • for the hole in the end around 19.00 you better do a boolean op with a 12sided cylinder, so you can better fix the merge verts and dont have the whole triangles in the end.

  • @F4SPR A 12 sided cylinder won't have enough sides to get the necessary rounding - it'll look too blocky and unrealistic, and i never use booleans because they're too unreliable. You're much better doing it manually and using booleans as a last resort.

    Since the pedal will not be subdivided or smoothed, you can have as many triangles as you want. As the top faces are planar no normal issues will occur and it gives a realistic result.
