Shortly after being left by Edward Cullen, Bella Swan is left to deal with a broken heart and the memories of their relationship. Meanwhile, miles away, Edward regrets having to leave her and he himself is feeling the effects of being away from Bella.
Days of tears and heartache go by for the both of them, until one day Bella starts hanging out with Jacob Black. They immediately click and for awhile, Bella is finally somewhat happy. Edward on the other hand is doing terrible, and being away from Bella begins to take toll on him. It isn't long before Bella starts to develop feelings for Jacob. With Edward's "voice" frequently surrounding her though, Bella immediately begins to feel guilty and torn between waiting waiting for Edward and her feelings for Jacob.
Finally, Bella sees fit that she clear her head of everything. She goes down to La Posh to the cliffs she noticed before [in the book with Jacob] and FINALLY reaches a moment of clarity just as she is about to jump off...
