  • Let's WRAP our heads around this:

President Mitt Romney, will be our first Commander-in-Chief that sat out a military draft on a Religious deferment.

As to his 5 sons of military age, Romney says they serve their country "better" by working on his endless political campaigns of the past decade

So when he attacks Iran, religious deferment Mitt will have no problem sending YOUR sons to war, because his sons have better things to do.

  • @sabastianthelion

    Fair enough

    Enjoy life bro

  • @TheCrystalRiver Yeah, I know right!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @sabastianthelion

Cool beans, man. So why'd you leave the greatest country on Earth? Something doesn't make sense about that one.... HAHAHAHHA

  • @TheCrystalRiver Well, I am American and have the ability to write-in my vote, so my opinion is somewhat legitimate. I mean, I did leave the USA...so I guess I'm an ex-patriot. ANYWAY, hey, it's whatever BRRRO!!!! Also, 3 years ago, when I made that comment, I lived in Texas (the greatest country on earth) and was a supporter of Dr. Paul. I voted for him in the primaries and then voted for his buddy Chuck Baldwin in the Election. I have, and always will, vote my conscience. So fuck off.

  • @OperationTailGunner I must say, you do have an excellent point. It seems we are doing nothing but throwing a lot of money at the Middle East, Israel especially, and just hoping for stability and security, and sadly, it's not working, and will likely never work. The irony is that, according to the Scientific American, we are only 420 billion dollars (invested in solar energy) away from complete energy independence. That's pretty small compared to the 3 trillion you mentioned.

  • @OperationTailGunner Continued....

This is a real serious issue while U.S. citizens face the prospect of having Social Securty cut back or delayed or down the road even eliminated, while full funding to Israel continues. If Israel was say Iraq or Afghanistan, there would be a point at which we would eventually say...O.K. guys, you are on your own now! But we are here if you need us.

If EVERY federal program were cut back by the SAME amount, I would have nothing to bitch about!

  • @erentheca I like your comments and understand your point. But I am becoming very concerned for our future. Over the last 10 years, the U.S. has invested around 3 Trillion U.S.dollars, including military aid package to Israel. Now our country is struggling to meet its debts. As of late, there is no member of Congress or even the president himself who is willing to reduce funding to Israel, even by a small amount. Except perhaps for Ron Paul who has no real chance of getting elected.

  • @OperationTailGunner While I am an ardent supporter of Israel, I am not sure if I am comfortable giving a small country, no matter how much I like it, the opportunity to drag us into a preemptive war. Our best objective, when it comes to Israel, is to build their ability to defend themselves, and if necessary, support them in a defensive war against their enemies. This "emergency situation" argument is also used way too often, and is always the argument for increasing executive power.
