On February 26, 2011, the Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) explains to a number of Cambodian-American survivors of genocide in San Jose, California the nature of the upcoming trials of the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge regime and the importance of the participation of the victims to the trials.

Along with the Applied Social Research Institute of Cambodia (ASRIC), a non-profit organization led by medical sociologist Dr. Leakhena Nou, CJA will be holding similar forums in Long Beach, California and in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Special thanks to the Cambodian-American community in San Jose, the UC Berkeley Rotary Peace Center, UC Berkeley Rotary Peace Fellows 2009-2011, UC Berkeley Human Rights Center, and Tulane University.
