CRT Oscilloscope with color waveform.

The CRT display was in color. However, the video camera apparently cannot record color from the monitor screen for some reason.

I want to make something like that but whenever i disconnect one coil the TV refuses to turn on. I was thinking about connecting it to a resistor just to put some load on it. Do you know anything about this.

@quicknuclearscience I know what UR talking about. I've had a lot of people tell me the same thing. Unfortunately the only way to by pass the safety feature is to connect the second coil to a second CRT monitor to fool the circuit into thinking there is a second coil connected. But, you will need two crt monitors.

how do u add colour to the waves? which pins do you have to connect together?

@260830107 Pin #'s 1,2,3 are Red, Green, Blue. Pin #'s 6,7,8 are Red ground,

Green ground and Blue ground. Google : "VGA monitor pinout" for more info.

I watched some of your videos. Pretty cool. Did you use a 4017 decade counter IC in your videos?

@260830107 VGA signals are TTL, which means 0-5 volts, where 0 to about 2 volts is a logic 0 and about 3 to 5 volts is a logic 1.

@chilliqueen2007 how much voltage do you need to apply to the R/G/B pins?

and nope i just used JK-flipflops and DM7490A decade/binary counter
