You see all these shredders now adays and think what they do is amazing, then you see videos like this and realise its nothing new, that guys were doing it 30 years ago. Only difference is back in the 80s it was about style and melody as well as speed.

@Artybruh Reb never admitted to using only two scales. He's said in the past he most frequently uses blues, minor pentatonic, and mixolydian sure. But I've heard him use phrygian, major, minor, lydian, diminished, and even harmonic minor occasionally. Not nearly as frequent as the other 3 sure but he has used them. Nevertheless it is true that Vai knows more.

master of tapping i agree. Much the same like steve vai but at least so much more interesting as far as unique attitude. Those kramers are far more fierce than Ibanez

Those original Kramers r awesome. F the new processed cheese models recently remade. I own one and it totally blows. Nothing more than firewood
