Mom: I'm sorry. It wasn't my decision. It was his.
Caroline: Why are you overreacting?! *She was too young to know or even understand what was going on at the time. Mom just never knew. Daddy called it our dirty little secret. Every time my mom would go grocery shopping, it happened. Every freaking time! All my mom knew is that he left without a single word and she was in no condition to forgive him. Neither was I.*
Me: I have to go. Nick's waiting for me. *I wiped my tears and put some foundation over my face to hide my running mascara. I don't think I did a good job.*
Nick: Baby what's wrong?
Me: Oh. Um nothing?
Nick: Are you sure?
Me: P-positive.
Nicks Pov: I knew something was wrong. Sooner or later she was going to have to tell me. I think she could tell I was trying to comfort her because she allowed me to kiss her gently on the lips. Of course her 10 year old sister Caroline caught us. She broke apart from my lips and sent her sister up to her room. When she came back, we just sat down and watched TV. We were watching TRL. Of course yours truly and his brothers were guest starring. Even Sophie came with us! She was on the show for the last five minutes we were there. She loved it *End of POV and back to Sophie's POV*
Me: I can tell Joe wanted to bounce off the walls at that point.
Nick: I think everyone could tell he wanted to.
Me: I told him not to mix Pixi Stix and Red Bull but does he listen to me? Noo! Oh look here I come!
Nick: You look beautiful there
Me: Thanks She asked me a lot of questions.
Nick: She asked all of us a lot of questions. Most of mine were a little personal.
Me: Well considering the fact that it's her job I don't blame her. Besides I heard the show is going off air in like October.
Nick: Really? Wow. I loved this show. *He pouts like a puppy dog but gets over it* Oh well. I still have you.
Me: Yup! *I kissed his lips as he deepend it. We were like this for another hour until he had to leave*
Nick: I don't wanna leave. I hate school.
Me: *I smile until he kisses me and I break apart* I'll see you tomorrow.
Nick: Goodnight baby. *He kisses my cheek and leaves. I head upstairs dazed and in shock. My sister Caroline was teasing about having a boyfriend. I have to say it actually felt pretty good. I jumped onto my bed and fell asleep.*
The next morning
*I groggily opened my eyes and put my hand on the snooze button on my alarm clock. I got up, took a shower, and got dressed into my ugly as hell uniform. Now I know my mom has been through a lot lately but come on. Private school? Puh-lease. Anyways I put my make up on, clutched my tote bookbag, went out the door and down stairs without a single word. Until I got to Nick's house.*
Nick: *Answers the door* Hey baby! You look hot in a uniform.
Me: Thanks. You don't look bad yourself.
Nick: *He chuckles his adorable chuckle and kisses my cheek* Why thank you. Lets get going.
Me: Alright. *We both walk out the door and head to school hand in hand. FF to 8th period*
Nick: *Mouthing words to me* Im so bored.
Me: *Mouthing back* Me too.
Nick: *Counting down to the final bell* 5...4...3...2...1!!!! Hell yea!!!! *Our teacher looks him in the eye* I mean heck yea. I gotta go. Umm bye. *We ran as fast as possible and out the door. Again hand in hand. It was like it was meant to be* So what are you doing tonight? *At that exact moment I remembered that my father would be moving in tonight.*
Me: My dad's moving in across the street. Gotta say hi and everything.
Nick: Y-your dad? *Nick was the only one who knew my secret. I made him pinky promise not to tell anyone.* Will there be people with you? Your not going alone I wont allow it.
Me: My sister is comming with me. Thats basically it. My mom is still mad and so there for shes not coming.
Nick: *He exhaled sharply.* Oh thank God.
Nina: Hey you two! Um Nick why is your arm around Soph? *Nina was the friend I made when Nicholas went away. She didn't know we were dating...yet*
Nick: Right. Nina...Soph and I are dating.
Nina: *Her eyes widened in excitement and Nick and I held our ears for we knew what was coming. She shrieked.*
Me: Dammit Nina! *I was gonna strangle her for making everyone to look at us. There goes senior year for making friends.*
Nick: Babe it's ok. *Nick was rubbing my shoulders and was trying to comfort me. It worked for now.*
Me: I gotta go. My dad's coming early and I have to pick up my sister. Your damn lucky.
Nick: Bye Nina. *He gave her a friendly hug. I'm definately not worried about those two...they fight...a lot*
Me: Ok Nick come on!!!!
Nick: I'm coming! *He ran over to my side and we began to walk. With my mom being a single parent, I don't have a car. Nick
