This is my attempt to animate the famous Elements song by Tom Lehrer. (If you want the lyrics, just do a web search for "Tom Lehrer Elements lyrics".)
I used the following software to create this:
• Visual C# Express
• AviSynth
• VirtualDub
It took me about 9 hours in total.
(This is a second version. The original version had a few errors which I've corrected.)

Love the song and I like Tom Lehrer, who was a great entertainer, but he didn't write the music. He put arranged the lyrics and put them to the music of Modern Major General from Pirates of Penzance. Just thought I'd mention that since you said he wrote it himself.

You are not the first person to point this out. My intention with the line “Music by: Tom Lehrer” was merely to say that I used his recording/his performance. If you buy a pop music CD, it too tends to show the performer’s name prominently, and rarely that of the composer or the lyricist. This is true even of cover songs, and Tom’s performance here isn’t even a straight cover.

There is no such song that lists “all the nations”. The song “Yakko’s World” from Animaniacs is an educational disgrace; it is missing about a third of all the world’s countries, and about a third of the entities listed in the song are not countries or nations.

That is because the song was written in the 1990s and those nations did exist at that time. Now they don't and there are some new ones as well

And since this was made, copernicium, flerovium and livermorium have been officially recognised as elements by IUPAC, and ununtrium, ununpentium, ununseptium and ununoctium are on their way too

Incorrect as they would form an alloy. If I remember correctly, only Na4Ba alloy show separate phase.
