  • @Ibringthetruth1 Because this engine does not have glow plugs you can use starter fluid, but it is never good to use it. When you use starter fluid the engine is no longer timed because the injectors time diesel motors, also you can over rev it very easy.

  • @whizbang47 Some aircraft were powered by these. I do not know what ones, but some were.

  • There were a lot of ads for these Guiberson engines in '30s-'40s aviation magazines, but I can't think of an airplane powered by one.
