This is my favourite couple ever in the history of Dancing with the Stars, although the main reason why I watch this show is Derek Hough! Great coreographer and dancer and with a great sense of humour!

yeah but just because they are hip hop or pop dancers doesn't mean ballroom comes easy... it takes a completely different sense of body placement and isolation movement... i think it is actually harder to come in with being trained one way and having to completely rethink everything you have been taught, to juwst come in with no training and absorb like a sponge...

@xmasboy10 While it definitely looks like a lift -- and Carrie Ann has since warned another couple [Audrina and Tony from Season 11] about jumping into moves, making them look like lifts -- lifts are defined as moves that sees both of the woman's feet come off the ground in a move she couldn't do alone. Nicole initiated the move and could have done it alone (in a modified way), so it's not really a lift.

However you look at it, though, she more than made up for it in the finale on their Rumba.

I thought they did an excellent job, but Carrie Ann is getting on my nerves, she seems extremely biased in who she chooses to call out on lifts. 1:21-1:23 was definitely a lift, I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it, but if Carrie Ann is really going to be the self-proclaimed "lift Nazi" she needs to be fair.
