This is truly an amazing creature. Who knew a shark's mouth could open so wide and be completely harmless? I mean, sure, it might swallow you on accident, but you can't blame it. I really hope that all of these amazing sharks can keep on living and not become extinct. They've lived so long and prospered since the dinosaur ages and they are creating history even I wouldn't mind reading in a history book. All of these amazing sharks and sea creatures amaze me, especially this one.

Hey, I'm from Norway. =3
My dad once told me, when he was a kid they found a big dead Basking Shark floating on the surface of the water (as shark's floats when they're dead).
They drove over to it and they could STAND on it, that's how big it were! But my dad scraped his skin on the shark's skin and started the bleed, so it were quit sharp for being dead.
In Norway we call the Basking Shark for "Brugde".
