It was just midnight. I couldnt fall asleep. But I just layed in my bed. Coco was asleep. I looked out the window without standing up and I saw Nick playing his guitar and singing, then writing them down whatever he was playing or singing. I dont know, I think he was writing a song. I looked away, I dont wanna consider myself a stalker. But I guess thats how I am when im like In love with a guy? Hm. This day turned out as the best birthday ever. Im being sarcastic, it was awful. Other than being kissed by Joe Jonas. And getting a dog for your birthday. But other than that, I hated it.

Nicks POV♥
I was playing my guitar for the longest time ever. I decided to write a song. Its part of a plan that I have. Im not going to Selenas birthday party though. I sent her a letter with the dog I gave her. I really dont think its a good present, a dog? But come on. That dog or puppy is trained and its small. So its actually not that bad of a present. But I had another idea in mind. I looked at my cell phone and it was already 5 past midnight. Whoa, Ive been writing this song like forever. I guess it takes time to write the music and the lyrics to it. I have to have it ready by tomorrow.

I put my guitar down. I dialed Valerias number. I hope shes awake right now. Hello? Hey, um Valeria? Yes, whos this? Nick Nick? Ugh what do you want? Okay, Im sorry. I didnt tell you why I was acting like I was acting. It was for a totally explainable reason. Okay, im waiting. Okay, welldo you want 100% truth? Or just a little bit? 100% Um well I just called you to ask you out, because uh I was mad at my brother and the girl that im like in love with. Because they knew I loved her and all and then they still dated. But we were friends back then. I knew you liked medont you? Uh YEAH? I was like totally crushing on you. I was like so destroyed when you told me I had a donkey face Oh yeah well about that. It was an excuse. Actually, you had a face of a gorgeous girl. You know Selena Gomez? Selena Gomez? That chick from Disney Channel? Yeah, shes the one wow. So youre like in love with her? Yes, and that day that I asked you out or I was leaving for you. Selena told me that she broke up with Joe for me cause I was all mad and stuff. And I felt bad. I couldnt stop thinking about it. I was like Im stupid, Selena is probably destroyed at what I said to her face and Im over here gonna have fun dating another chick but Valeria, youre amazing. I would be delighted to feel the same way. But I dont and thats the problem I dont think we can date I mean because all we can ever be is friends. Unless my feelings for you grow, but I dont think it will happen. Youre pretty and all but- Nick, Its fine. I understand. It was nice that you told me all that and all the truth. I really thought you were different and- Oh yeah about that too. I am different. Its just that you caught me on the bad day you know? I mean I was about to tell you everything when I parked the car, then you told me I was different and yeah. It made me think that youll kill me if I told you what was happening. And yeah when we kissed. I also pulled away cause you had Selenas face. That has NEVER happened to me until now. But we can still date, as friends though. You know? Oh well I guess you are different? And honest, thats what I look in for a guy. Selena is really lucky Nick. It sounds like you reallylove her Yeah, since I met her and how long has that been? about 7 years. Whoa whoa whoa. I thought you barely met her? No, Ive always had feelings for her. But everyday she gets more. Beautiful like if shes becoming into a princess. Shes great. I was really hurt that she hated me for a while. But I guess I just get carried away at times. Aw. Nick you are the sweetest guy ever. Well like I said, shes extremely lucky to be loved by a guy like you. Thanks. So were cool? Yeah of course. Okay, thats good. I didnt want you to go all crazy when I told you all this. But im sorry again. Its fine. Cool, so Im gonna ask her something. Who? Selena? Yeah. What? To be youre girlfriend? Oh, no I dont think its possible. But something else. Are you available tomorrow? What time All day long Whoa. Uh yeah I guess Ill clear my day up Okay, well if my plan doesnt work. Then well just go to the movies or something. Okay? Um okay? Okay, Its passed midnight. Ill let you go to bed alright? Okay Bye I said.

I took a deep breath. Its all good between me and her. Thats good. Selenas room was dark. Crap! I yelled. I grabbed all the stuff and set them up on her front door. Then I rang the bell and hid behind a bush.
