PsychoKernel is the name of a series of experimental kernels from WebOS Internals kernel developer uNiXpSyChO, currently including F102A, F104A and F105.

This experimental series of kernels is where new features are alpha tested before being incorporated into the mainstream stable UberKernel release.

There is a continuous cycle of adding new features to PsychoKernels, then moving them to alpha testing versions of UberKernel, and then finally moving them to the public releases of UberKernel.

You should read the UberKernel documentation first if you are interested in alpha testing any of the F10x kernels, as most of the features for the PsychoKernel series and UberKernel are identical.

All of these kernels are available from Preware, and you must use Preware to install or uninstall them. For the experimental alpha testing kernels, you will also need to manually add the alpha testing kernel feed to Preware to access them. If you cannot use your search skills to find the URL for that feed, then you probably wont make a good alpha tester ...

Personal Disclaimer: My Pre Plus has installed/uninstalled several different kernels, patches, and applications without a clean slate (Doctoring). It's probably overdue. With that said, I don't even think this video clearly shows what the true potential of this kernel has. Again, this is in the Alpha stages. I do NOT recommend this kernel in its current Alpha state if you care about destroying your phone or voiding your phones warranty. With that said, install and enjoy at your own risk.

@runescapeinformant I think U meant mHz :D , but I don`t even think super computer processors run at 800ghz you`d need like 285 cores :S thats alot of processors xD

Dude im so sorry to sound like a noob but could you please send me the link in a pm so i can add it to my preware to download the kernal because right now i have the 800ghz and after seeing this one i would be really interested in testing this one out. And even if you dont send me the link thanks for the time you took out to read this message.

@chknzgd137 ya I had figured it out, I had preware since the begging of it, my problem was how i reset the phone after installing the webos kernels testing feed! I held the power button and did the reset that way.. and it didnt work.. i had rod from precentrel help me on the reset part! but thanks for taking the time to respond :)

@johnny25s you gotta get preware, and then install the test feed to be able to download the kernels

google to find the link to the feed -- it might be kinda hard to find @ first but keep looking. 1ghz makes all the difference. visual gameboy advance works smoothly and without hiccups in sound finally
