  • @rbwsoul -- I've never heard anyone say "Neandertal". Everyone I know says it it's "NeandertHal'. I ought to know, I've been called one enough times in my life.

  • Okay. Let's get up and growl.

    "RRRRAHHWWWW...BLAAAHHHHH!!

    .....what's he doin now?"

    "He's eatin BUSHES that's what he's doin!"

  • i need to find my cd

because the original MONO recording had NO REVERB but for 'compatable stereo" they added 2 channels of reverb HEAVY

  • Rest in peace Ralfie! X3

  • job 30-6 To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks

  • oba-1-3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

  • The spelling has not changed - the pronunciation has changed. Since the root words are Neandert and hal - there is no 'th" sound - it is divided as Neandert + hal!!! Your daddy just pronounced it incorrectly - sort of like RBI in baseball - which is RUNS BATTED IN - not RUN BATTED IN - so the collection of several runs batted in - should be "Today he got 3 RBI" - not "Today he got 3 RBI's!"

  • A quick Note for 55maggot55.

Yes, TODAY, the term is "Neandertal", but atthe Time that Bill did this, the Common Term was "Neanderthal".

At that Time in our Culture, we also pronounced another Word as "Brontosaurus".

...Today, we pronounce that Word as "Apotosaurus".

Bill wasn't any more "Incorrect" than Geof Chaucer, when he said "Kynge", rather than "King"...Both of them were using the "Term of the Time".
