@keys2prosper I'm a grad & actually quit my full-time job in "Corporate America" b/c I have a passion for cars. I've went over your website to find an answer to the question I asked but didn't really come across anything. I went over the Bikini Report too! I'm asking this because I've got a dealer license and I own & operate an actual dealership but one thing I noticed is nobody calls when I have my cars on the Dealer Section on CL. When I post them as Private, I get bombarded with calls..

Hey Tony, when you put your cars up for sale on Craigslist, do you list them under the dealer section or the by owner section?

@Monaco750Li It depends... There are many ways to advertise. Did you read the blog?

@keys2prosper So my questions was what do you do? Do you have any other methods of posting ads other than CL for a quick sale? Do you post under Dealers or Private?

Good tips. If a seller is willing to come down significantly off their asking price, like the $500 you mentioned, they will usually settle on an even lower price; I usually figure about 1/2 of their initial drop, so around $4700. If I'm at $4200 and they're at $5000, I'll still offer $4500 to push the envelope a bit and see how much closer they'll come to my number. In my mind, I'm fine around $4700. Another tip is to be on time for appts so they know you're serious.
