As androclestipster says, it would be much better if all shelters would adopt no-kill policies, but for everyone who fought for some kind of death without terror and immense suffering I am grateful.

I could have gone the rest of my life without watching this video. I have four dogs of my own. I don't know how people can be so insensitive and selfish to dump their pet at a shelter. I don't know what to say about it really. God help us.

@susaninIN I totally agree that gassing must be stopped, it's for cowards. They should be bludgeoned to death one by one. Ideally, maximum pain and suffering should be administered for the longest possible period of time.

I am thankful to my Creator that this has been banned AT LEAST in New Mexico! Mores the pity it hasn't been banned in ALL of the United States. And even more, a shame it has to be done AT ALL! God protect the beasts and the children!

@theamazingplant2 . Yes, there is a high probability that dog will have puppies that will in turn have more puppies and in turn will lead to dogs being killed because there is no one to care for them. There is no other risk that comes close to being killed.

This is a big step, but we need spay/neuter laws, outlaw puppy mills and limit breeders. Anyone watching these videos would agree. I just cannot see how this is allowed to happen.
