Opeth - The Leper Affinity (guitar cover)

First Track of the Black Water Park album.
My first 10+ minutes video. I'm glad youtube let me upload this monster. Sorry the backing seems to be a little low on volume at times but I couldn't find a better way of mixing this without losing too much of my guitar tone.

Opeth is one of my favorite Death Metal bands. Not that I listen to a lot of death metal, there's only few bands from that genre that are really appealing to me. But they are definately in my personal Top 5.

Please don't ask for tabs for this. They can be found via google. There's a pretty accurate tab on 911 tabs, it just has a mistake at the chord strumming section at the very end of the song.

gut gespielt, aber der sound war ziemlich unpassend leider.

viel zuviel gain für opeth... die haben ihre laneys nur auf halber kraft laufen, weils sonst, wie bei dir, zermatscht und/oder zur säge wird.

und clean bist du kaum zu hören...

Danke, jo das mit dem gain hatte ich auch gehört, als ich das zusammengemischt habe. Habe dann allerdings nicht den Nerv gehabt nochmal anzufangen, war schon ätzend genug das 10 minuten lang ohne größere Patzer durchzuspielen, hehe. Muß aber auch gestehen, daß ich für den POD xt live bisher kein richtig gutes Setting für Opeth mucke habe. Dafür bestimmt 10 für Priest =). Wenn ich mal wieder was von ihnen Cover probier ich den Sound besser hinzubekommen.
