@geetarnut There is no store involved, Greg's business grew from buying and selling stuff for his own use as a pro player. There are always several dozens, if not hundreds guitar in stock, but the inventory is constantly changing. Go to his website (URL given in the description above) and click on "Guitars and amps for sale". If you're interested in something, send Greg an Email or give him a call. You can pick guitars up by appointment, or Greg will send them by UPS or the like.
@bluesderek Thanks very very much for taking the time to reply back to me! May I ask, about how many guitars are there, roughly, and is there a music store involved in the selling of them? I would love to know if there's a web-store, and I will pass it on to mu many guitar friends! Thanks again, great job you are doing! Sal.
@geetarnut Check the start page of Greg's YouTube channel to find out how he records these demo videos. Which is only proof that it doesn't always take big bucks to produce great sound - it's in the fingers for the most part. However, it's a different story when he's recording CDs. Then pro equipment will be used, of course. - I am just a friend who translates the stock list of guitars for sale on his website into English. Occasionally I'll answer questions on YouTube, if I can.
Thanks for filling me in about Gregs sound! I guess you get my point, you know what I'm wondering,, because only studio quality mixing consoles, and studio reverb, and the final sweetening on the console gets that 100% pro sound,, only heard on top quality recordings! I commend you, if you have involvement with his work, and, of course,, Greg, and his wonderfully smooth melody lines! Take care!!! Sal.
@geetarnut It is true that Greg adds a little reverb from the mixer (in addition to the amp reverb and the delay pedal he's using anyway). But Greg uses a little cheap Behringer mixer to mix down the miked amp signal and the backing tracks (if he uses any) into the camera, so no "big studio secrets" here. The sound you hear is as honest as you can get
The overall sound seems to have been sweetened by a mixing console, so that the end result is enhanced with studio quality reverb,, just like a mixed down record done professionally. Excellent playing, right up my alley,, I'm a super Larry Carlton fan, and I can certainly hear him in your playing very much so! That's great! Thanks for the postings!
