As Salaam Alaikum. I miss working with Muslim students desperately. The females are the most gentle, respectful, intelligent students I ever had. The males, so strong in support of the females.. I miss you all and wish there were more of you all in America.

@mishsood a woman is not ashamed. we dress up and doing everything other women do , in the privacy in our homes. even the bible says not to adorn yourself than go out in public
-
@lizzieworld13 well in that case the fault lies with the man, he should be ashamed. Not the woman who was looked at, why should she feel guilty. having said that I do not endorse Bikinis either, just that a Burqa is another extreme like a Bikini. You can walk the mid way path ! Womanhood is all about colour, ornamentation, expressing feelings with attire. why stifle a normal human urge ?
-
@mishsood well the niqab protects the women from the view of men who are not taught this. those who have no type of religious understanding or dont fear God will not look away from women

this sites helps alot,,, thanks for making it

blah blah non muslims we dont care what u think or say when will u realise that????
Why can a man not be taught decency in the way he looks at women ? Hindus are taught - look upon all women except your wife as your mothers and sisters from now on, during the Hindu wedding ceremony. If sin is what worries you, then you are endorsing the view that men have a right to lech, by asking women to cover up. No its the men who need to look down and away if they cannot control their impulses or purify their vision.

Quran taught men to decent their visions toward women...
and also women have to cover up their selfes..
it really brings good values in the society.. we muslim men should respect every women like we respect our mother and sister.....

i guess but women who are born of islam have no choice and a lot of them live in fear trust me ive been to iraq a lot of them have jobs on the fob and where civilian clothes and they are very beautiful but they do not want you to take pictures of them because they are afraid someone might see them and they will be killed even by their own families for dishonoring islam

and also that shows youre disrespect them..
u ve been to iraq doesnt mean u know everything.. u say what u see not what u understand from their culture..

If they want to dress like that then people should respect that.
I am an Europpean and I don't hate / fear Islam. Why should I?
Because of few fundamentalists who blow themselves up to kill people? Like there are no madmen in other religions?
Because it's wievs are way different than mine? And who am I to declare what's right what's wrong?
