Comparison of 1995 and 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008 lumbar spine curvatures and 2007 Thoracic are shown. Line segments are used to approximate the anterior edge of the lumbar and thoracic spine segments. Y=m*X + b and arctangent(m) are applied to determine the slope/curvature of the lumbar segment using (X,Y) points located on T12, L1 and L2. 2007 Thoracic spine segment is used showing the curvature/slope of T12 and L1 discs is the same as the curvature of L1, T12 discs from 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008 lumbar. Results show the 1995 lumbar spine curvature at L1/L2 is 11 degrees less than the 2007 Thoracic spine curvature at T12/L1. 2007 Thoracic spine curvature at T12/L1 is within error (1-3 degrees) with 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008 Lumbar spine curvature at T12/L1.
How does a spine curvature change? All MRI film was obtained with me in supine posture.
Proximate cause of injury: change in curvature is being investigated. Please post comments or email if you have any suggestions or ideas.
2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008 Lumbar spine film documents injury that occurred on Spirit Rock Meditation Center property in 2001.
My standing posture is upright, erect with shoulders back.
Does anyone anywhere care? I mean.. sorry you hurt your back but why post it on utube? I don't get it.
