How To Make A Minecraft Multiplayer Server (Tutorial)

One Million Views! Thanks everyone, glad I could help (the majority of you)!

In this tutorial, I'll be giving you a brief but informative tutorial in the creation and maintenance of a Minecraft Multiplayer SMP Server.

Yes, this tutorial does work for beta versions of the game, so don't worry about that.

Items you'll need:
- Legitimate copy of Minecraft
- Server Software
- Internet Connection

1. Open Command Console
2. Enter ipconfig and hit enter.
3. Copy down the IPv4 address.
4. Download Server software.
5. Place it into a folder on your desktop.
6. Forward network port 25565.
7. Start up server.

You can set it from your adapter settings.

Change adapter settings -> Right click your working adapter ( which shows something with green ) -> Then go to properties -> Look for "Internet protocol version 4" -> Check it if it isn't checked ( if it is checked, I don't know either ) -> Click ok and try again ;).

if you have the ip.10.0.0.1 The password is user and the username is user.
