@RDZ90210 No, it really wasn't... I think the only difference is that all three of your songs were enjoyble. "A Jubilant Song"? I'm not sure you could get retirees into that. "Lamentations" and "Sleep" though? Definitely good, cool pieces. And HS students take pride in the presentation of what they like... :)

@kris4625 i kinda agree the year we won 1st over north central i think because our music we performed was different than what we have done over the last 2nd place years. n last year we got 2nd again but IM PRAYING that we get 1st again this year we're working hard for it like every year.

i've seen the arrangement a million times. the reason why valpo never competed with it was because we didn't feel it was challenging enough. not to take away from anything goshen accomplished - that's just how i see it.

again, great job to goshen - this piece just isn't complicated enough for state in my opinion. that might be the reason for the 2nd place yet again. you guys definitely could've won in my opinion, though. fabulous. :)
