MCN Sport: A lap of the new Donington Park Circuit

MCN were granted exclusive access to a £48,000 simulator, which shows how the all new Donington Park circuit will look after its multi million pound developments in time for the 2010 Formula One race.

Although its difficult to appreciate the true undulation of the new circuit layout the simulator illustrates how fast and flowing the new layout will be.

It also gives an indication to the extent of the building work which includes a 400 metre long pit and paddock area, new club house, multiple grandstands and additional hospitality.

Things built for F1 suck, because you need cars or motorcycles that are stupidly powerful to suit it. Shanghai is an example of this Tilke crap.

The old Donnington was fun even on a 400cc bike, the new one it will be boring as hell even for a motogp bike, LAME

Hi guys. My brother and I have just been in this simulator at the Triumph stag 30th anniversary at Uttoxeter race course. It is a force feedback simulator set up inside a proper F2 racing car! we only paid 5 quid for a go, at the end of the day, my bro set the 2nd fastest time of the day!. He's a nutter for racing games. This sim with that force feedback is violent! I discovered during my 4 laps....Epic barrier fail!!
