ABC Recent Political Roll Of Honour : -

Here is a quaint video grab from Prudence Jane's last day on the job at The ABC's Canberra Station 2CN - now known as 666 ABC Canberra, or to me The Sound Of Canberra's Revelations. A rather Devilish station these days, but made less so by the departure of Ms.Goward, who was & is a most charming & disarming lady with a sharp mind that can put most men in their place, but having the fairness to embrace the male of the species & not fight it for the sake of her gender only, Pru I feel is an equilibrist & I for one would feel happy as a bloke if she were to gain a powerful public position again, although I wouldn't like to synchronize my watch by her !

It was somewhat difficult to find a piece of video footage featuring an ABC Liberal, albeit Pru is a small L version, but good enough for me.

I've always admired Pru Goward. We are lucky that the Liberals have many more capable women candidates, especially in Victoria. She was a real trail blazer.

@onemoreterm Ditto on the admiration of course, also The Libs don't make as much fuss over women as The ALP do, they just get on with it. Seems many ALP women are in those positions because of their gender & the perceived photogenic appeal to the punters. I fancy The Libs have no equivalent to say Emily's List in Victoria, do they Jan ? As for The ALP's success over the years....it's spin that keeps 'em in & nothing much more !
