Tamasha's cult verbatim comedy returned to The Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011 - part of a cheeky double bill with Auntie Netta's Holiday for Asylum.

Macho men or metrosexual guys? Mummy's boys tied to the apron strings or husbands under the thumb? These spirited men have all got roots, so what are they really like behind closed doors?
Created entirely from interviews with members of the public, The Trouble with Asian Men reveals the experiences of British Asian men in their own words.
The show uses a powerful verbatim technique where the original interviews are relayed to and recreated by the actors during the performance to expose the idiosyncrasies of human speech and channel the spirits of the people they represent. The result is a vital, tender and often hilarious insight into lives that surround us everyday.
Since premiering in 2005, The Trouble with Asian Men has played to packed houses across the UK, enjoying two sell-out London runs at artsdepot in 2005 and Soho Theatre in 2006.
