@LuckeySweet You happen to be incorrect. Leading research states that yes, while people who are extremely obese die first, people who are 'healthy' die second and those who are 'overweight' live the longest. It is also a scientific fact that women who have at least a certain percentage of body fat in their hips and thighs are healthier because it helps keep their blood clean. The definition of 'excess' is quickly being altered and changed as we learn more about how it's possible to be fat & fit.

@KelliesKitchen6 ya, but you probably have another quality other people envy! think about it.

@wlcgblog Actually, "weight, by itself" does cause heart disease. When you are carrying around large amounts of extra weight, you are putting an unnecessary strain on your heart. Trying searching "excess weight" and read the multiple credible studies about the harm being obese causes - to be clear, it doesn't matter whether you packed the weight on munching brown rice and veggies, or in potato chips and cookies. Excess fat is not healthy.

I love the other videos, they're so funny, but this one is just kind of odd to me, lol.

Harding & Portman....didn't they write "Shapely Prose" the fat acceptance blog? I wish that blog was still active.

@Sorrowek Tell that to the very masculine US Army veteran I've been with for 14 years and who can't keep his hands off of me. I've got boobs & a figure like Joy's, and I am completely worshipped.

I've got boobs like that. Well, and a figure like Joy's. I also have a man who can't keep his hands off of me. :)

@SarahLadyPants With talk like that you have to be a medical professional! Can't be just a GP . . . . . Heart specialist? Brain surgeon? Yes, I'm being sarcastic. Weight, by itself, doesn't cause heart disease. *Inactivity*, smoking, drinking, and eating junk food causes heart disease. And don't come back with the "fat=lazy" stereotype. Try something closer to the truth.
I'm getting kind of sick of men talking about their preferences of the female form as though they were discussing their favourite cuts of meat. Women of all sizes are people, not abstract designs for you to find aesthetically pleasing. Bodies are not public property -- so stop discussing them like they're any of your business, regardless of the size. Nobody deserves "scorn" for their shape; it's theirs, not yours or anyone elses.

Watching this video solidified something I've been beginning to realize for a few months: there is no single 'perfect' body. Both of the women in this video are absolutely gorgeous, and I'm not even talking about 'inner beauty.' The beauty ideal that has made my life a bit of a hell for the past few years has been overturned in my mind so that I can see the honest-to-goodness beauty in bodies of most sizes.
