Tourism absolutely changes things. Partly for the better (living standards), partly for the worse (loss of unique traditions and culture). Absolutely. But that's the natural progression of societies, isn't it?

I see problems though. You throw a bunch of outsiders; people not reared to understand such systems; into the mix , and things will quickly change. It already has. The danger is exploitation. Hopefully they will be able to adapt while still retaining their unique character.
It is probably a better system for advancing humanity than the predominately male oriented system used throughout most of the world.

It makes for an interesting situation. Males would really need to be the best they could, or she might not invite you back. That abusive overbearing male will not likely pass on those traits to his children. Males would have to learn to act politely, honorably, and diligently.
