When was the last time you were in the middle east of North Africa? Maybe you should visit these places more often.

Qatar and Saudia are financing the Salafists in Syria, they sponsored the Salafists in Tunisia and Egypt! What a shame that the UK plays the Game!

After Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, now Algeria? No way.

Why can't they try and fight back the French like real men? It's quite frankly cowardly capturing innocent civilians.

UK buy it's gas from Norway. We have north sea oil and many of the trade in oil has been ongoing since the 1940's in Kuwait etc. They have been happy to supply as it has given them untold wealth and given them money to buy decelination plants and technology....it works both ways...it's called 'trade' which has been done since ancient times with middle east and nothing new.

You think Algeria is better off with a few greedy generals taking the oil and gas revenue whilst selling it to the western energy companies for a song. Look outside your yard Nato countrie so this all over the world not just in Africa. That is why they love dictatorships and Fascist regimes because the leaders are greedy and can be brought.

Cameron never confirmed such a thing. As for stealing resources. Trade deals are only too happily exchanged by these countries, no one forces them. Many jobs are created by companies for local workers and until now it has never been an issue.
