Individual daily satellite images (1st Oct 2004 to 17th Jan 2010) of ozone levels in atmosphere. Satellite images downloaded from http://macuv.gsfc.nasa.gov/OMIOzone.md .

Chloroflourocarbons (CFC's) released by humans are causing increased depletion of ozone (O3) in the atmosphere. Less ozone means more harmful ultraviolet radiation that reaches the earth. Watch the North and South Poles to see ozone holes form during their season based cycles.

I made this animation for myself, but I figured there would be others interested so I uploaded it :)
