@zybotsu001 His autobio is soooo full of shit. He also said that he never went to the gym, he just looked that way. That fucker hit the gym for months to get ripped! He also said he met Norman Mailer in Hector's Cafe in 1941 when Mailer got out of the Army. In fact Mailer didn't even enlist until later that year. Brando was bi as fuck. He lied about many people to preserve their character and fuck with ppl because that's who he was. You believe his autobio 100%? ridiculous.

in Brando's memoir, he said he never knew for certain if Monty was gay. So people please stop assuming that they were into each other.

@JPLV - Today, however, we are so inclined to put people into sex orientation categories. Some people especially artists never want to be defined and we should respect them for that rather than calling them closet cases. Monty Clift was a great actor. Period. Unfortunately, he is referred more as that classic bisexual actor than one of the greatest actors and interesting persons of our time.

@Daviysoh I really don't think Hollywood was more tolerant of gays and lesbians back then, not even close.
The people who we now believe was bi- or homosexual never stated it in public. People like Clift, Dean, Hudson and so on. Their friends probably knew about their sexual orientation end tendencies, but they never said it out loud.

@sugarcane32 Sleeping with a lot of people doesn't mean that you HAVE to get AIDS.
And being gay and sleeping with men doesn't mean you get AIDS.
And yes Rock Hudson died of AIDS, but not ALL gay men contract HIV and die of AIDS.

I suppose, compared to today, hollywood in those days were more tolerant of being gay or bi.

@sugarcane32 AIDS came to America in 1981. Brando was 57. I'm pretty sure he wasn't fucking loads of men in bath-houses in LA at that time. Not that being gay has anything to do with AIDS in the first place.
