tyson was a faster fitter better conditioned harder hitter technically better joe frazier with kevin rooney in his corner unbeliveable cus d' amato unstoppable better trainer/manager than angelo dundee and he was pretty good. tyson said he lost all his desire to fight after he died tysons height also worked to his advantage as the style suited someone of his speed and power perfectly slipping and rolling

Tyson in his prime would destroy anyone, even Ali, but once Tyson gets a strong hit in he could over power him, not dissing Ali or anything I mean he was an amazing fighter but nothing compares to Tysons shear power.

Foreman was a taller, longer, slower version of Tyson. Both had thunderous punching power. Another fighter similar to Tyson was Sonny Liston....powerful, intimidating, skilled. Problem is, nobody, and I mean NOBODY could intimidate Ali. Ali was as quick, if not quicker than Tyson with his lightning fast jabs and could take a punch as well as any heavyweight ever could. Ali would have talked trash to Mike before, during, and after the fight and beaten him down.

@bill23138 I looked at it. And Ali would control Tyson like a puppy on a leash. Tell me, even with Tyson's great neck, why did featherfist Douglas snap Tyson's head back with jabs? Ali was far superior. Watch 'Foreman on heavybag' he folded it in half. Ali took all that. And, if Tillis, Holi,etc controlled Tyson, so would Ali. You need back strength too, not just neck. Yes, Tyson had a good back... but Ali just was genetically stronger.

@bill23138 just because tyson hit harder doesnt mean he was physically stronger than ali, tyson always was man handled in clinches. if foreman gets controlled by ali in the clinch so is tyson.
